TECHNIQUES:
1- KIMURA FROM SIDE CONTROL: The kimura from side control is a dominant submission. Once you sink the grips into the figure-four lock, it is very hard for your opponent to escape it. The kimura grip is also an excellent control that you can keep as you transition to other positions.
2- KIMURA 2: There are different ways to get to the kimura from side control, and this variation is a great set-up for both the kimura and straight armlock. You can also use it to take the back. Get the kimura grip and move to north-south to finish the kimura from your knees.
