The lightweight division at the 2025 Crown Championship was considered the most stacked of the event, packed with World Champions, rising stars, and the returning champion Brianna Ste-Marie. Top names like Janaina Lebre, Thalyta Silva, Bia Basilio, Elisabeth Clay, Cassia Moura, and Sarah Galvão made this one of the most competitive brackets in recent history.
But no one stood out more than Sarah Galvão. At just 19, she defeated the returning champion, a rising superstar, and the 2025 World Champion — all without giving up a point — to claim The Crown. Undefeated since earning her black belt, Sarah entered 2026 as one of the most exciting athletes in jiu-jitsu.
Strong performances from Bia Basilio, Cassia Moura, and Janaina Lebre added to the hype, but 2025 ultimately belonged to Sarah Galvão.
