Lucas Barbosa received his black belt from Andre Fabiano in July 2015, before moving to California to train with Andre Galvao at the Atos Jiu-Jitsu Headquarters. He is a 4x IBJJF Black Belt No Gi World Champion; a 1x IBJJF Black Belt World Champion and a Silver Medalist at the ADCC World Championship (2022).
