Atos HQ black belt Nisar Loynab teaches How To Maintain A Good Back Control "Back Pack", during the 5pm 8-13 No-Gi Kids Class class on 04/15/2021.
Back control is an essential situation to becoming a well-rounded bjj fighter. Back control is one of the most important things to develop like any other major top-control situation such as side control, and mount control. You'll have great opportunities to take your opponent’s back during the fight, it is not a simple task so you can’t let them escape. You can become very good on back control by practicing situational sparring and techniques. The goal is to control then submit the opponent.
Nisar Loynab received his black belt from Andre Galvao in February 2018. He is an IBJJF San Diego Spring Open Champion; a IBJJF Las Vegas Summer Open Champion; and a IBJJF Portland Open Champion. He is also one of Atos HQ’s top kid’s instructors.
