The x Guard is a great tool to have in your game. As a tall lanky grapple it allows you to stretch the opponents out and gives you a plethora of options. Anything from attacking the legs to the "simple" sweep from the skilled Atos Champ Andy Murasaky.
Andy Murasaki received his black belt from Andre Galvao in December 2020. He is a 2x IBJJF Pan Champion (brown and purple); a 2x European Champion (brown and purple); and a 2x IBJJF World and Pan Champion at juvenile.
