6x ADCC World Champion & 6x IBJJF Black Belt World Champion teaches one of his favorite ways to pass the Z Guard during 9am fundamentals class 10/16/2018.
The windshield wiper is a leg motion used by 15x Black Belt World Champion and Atos Hq coach Andre Galvao. It allows you to cross from one side of your opponent’s body to the other without him entangling you in either guard or half guard.
This technique will bring up your footwork passing recognition. It will also help you develop transitional BJJ guard pass skill. Having the ability to move your legs together rather than independently is a very important transitional skill.
There’s lots of different skill sets at work here.
