TECHNIQUES:
1- COLLAR CHOKE FROM BACK: The collar choke from the back is a very strong submission. Once you have your grips, it’s very hard for your opponent to escape. Remember your top hand is the choking hand so always try to bring your opponent to that side to keep the choke tight. This example uses a collar to choke while your other hand reaches behind your partner’s head, cinching the choke even tighter.
2- ARMBAR FROM THE BACK: One of the best things about the back is that your partner cannot tell what you plan to do to him. All of his defense is in front of him while all your offense is in front of you. The armbar from the back begins by isolating one of his arms in a figure-four grip. This grip is excellent for controlling your partner, and it helps to set up an armbar in this example.
