Self Defense DAY 10

TECHNIQUES:
1- GUILLOTINE CHOKE: The guillotine choke is a common submission in grappling and Mixed Martial Arts, especially when your opponent shoots for a double leg takedown with bent-over posture. When this happens quickly lock the head and curl it to downward while putting forward pressure with your hips to tighten the submission.
2- GUILLOTINE CHOKE WHEN TAKEN TO THE GROUND: It is common for your opponent to attempt to counter the previous guillotine submission by forcing the blast double-leg takedown. When this happens, be sure to keep your legs wide and fall into a closed guard position with the guillotine still locked. Now, the submission pressure is heightened as you create more traction with the downward pressure of your legs against pulling action of your hands.
