Sarah Galvão received her Black Belt from André Galvão and Angelica Galvão on June 30th, 2025, after winning the IBJJF Worlds as a Brown Belt.

As a colored belt, she became a multiple-time IBJJF European, Pan, Brazilian Nationals, and World Champion, winning gold at every single belt. She is also a 2x IBJJF No-Gi World Champion, 2x Abu Dhabi World Youth Champion, and an Abu Dhabi World Pro Champion, achieving this title while still a Brown Belt competing against Black Belts.

In 2022, she accomplished the rare IBJJF Double Grand Slam as a Blue Belt Juvenile. In 2023, she made history by becoming the first athlete to win the ADXC as a Purple Belt.
