Why Hippoplata? Cause you use the weight of your heavy hips against your opponent's shoulder. And the Hippo is an animal with HUGE hips tho haha! You can feel your hip will be as big as a hippo hip crushing/smashing your opponents shoulder. It's a powerful shoulder lock and it feels like an omoplata shoulder lock, but with more intenseness!
