With the IBJJF World title secured and a deep sense of accomplishment washing over him, Lucas Pinheiro decided to retire from the competition scene. After winning the 2023 Worlds in the rooster weight division, Pinheiro left his black belt on the mats as a form of show retirement.
In this season, Lucas had amazing results achieving first place at the CBJJ Brazilian Nationals Gi and No-Gi, IBJJF No-Gi Euros, ADCC Open, IBJJF Gi and No-Gi Worlds. Now he is ready for the next chapter of his life.
